• Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (Incoming Stocks,

Dispatch notes, departure, arrival, customs clearance, PODs, etc.) as specified by Customer

Standard Operating Procedures.

• Ensure proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearance, exit/entry

for shipments. Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to

carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner.

• Plan and schedule appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs. Schedule the

Appropriate service line for the situation (across all modes and all trade lanes) to maintain a

cost effective balance between customer service and cost of shipment

• Coordinate the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders,

shipping companies and transporters to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments.

• Prepare and verify shipping documents including: shipping invoice/ packing list for

export shipments.

• Successfully completed the training on “EDI, SAP ,DUBAI CHAMBER & E-Mirsal

• Supervised customer service issues to make certain that all situations were settled in a viable

manner to satisfy the customer, while limiting company’s liability

• Request and review freight quotes from agents, couriers and haulage companies for inbound

and out bound goods and negotiating the freight cost.

• Overseeing all logistics activities related to inbound & outbound shipments.

• Communicate with international & local suppliers to expedite the shipments upon

receiving the purchase order from the clients.

• Communicate with international suppliers & freight agents for organizing cargo pickup

Providing weekly and daily activity reports like shipment movement status & buying cost

report etc. to senior management.

• Ensuring the accuracy of all documentation and vendor compliancy within

company expectations is achieved and maintained.

• Monitors communicate and manage supplier pre-alerts & documentation.

• Manage Customs Clearance process including Bill of Entry & any necessary customs

clearance documentation.

• Manage the relationship with customers.

• Track and monitor inbound shipments, verify packing lists and invoices and other

documentation involving materials received from suppliers for delivery to client.

• Co-ordinating with Overseas Suppliers for the Cargo’s Dispatch and Shipping Documents
