relevant legislation and regulation, and an opportunity to practice basic lifting

rigging operations following a lifting plan.

support Lifting and Rigging Training and review lifting and rigging activities Act as owner’s representative

and monitor all Rigging and Lifting activities and ensure that EPC,

Manufacturing plant and O & M Contractors comply with HSE, Quality and Construction requirements

• Review all contractor Lift and Rigging Plans

and ensure that they meet safe lifting requirements as laid out in OHSE

policies and standards.

• Assist the Safety Department in the

development and communication of lifting policies and procedures.

Green Field: Installation,

Performing and Execution of Heavy Steel Structures & Columns, Pyro clone,

Cyclone, Chimney, Steel Plates, Hoppers, Gallery, KP Shells & 132 KVA

Transformer, Tyres- used by CC2400-1, LR 1750, CKE 2500, Tower Cranes,

Equipment Weights from 5 MT to 130 MT.

• Responsibilities for Technical advice, Implementation

of International & Technical Standards, Procedures, Guidelines & etc., JSA & Method Statement Review and Grade test contacting.

• Review and Approval of all Engineering Lift

Plan like Simple Routines, Non Routines, Complicated, Tandem, Critical, Awkward

Lift Plan as per Ultratech Cement LTD rigging studies and requirements.

• Provide leadership

and guidance to direct reports in the execution of their responsibilities,

Encourage innovative thinking around process safety and production

optimization.

• To ensure all

lifting & rigging operation carried out safely and compliance to their Ultratech Cement Ltd procedures.

• Responsible for providing lifting related training

covering lifting rigging operation

hazards and preventive measures to the crew members like Safe rigging &

Slinging, BS 7121 Crane Operator training and Signalman.

Brown Field: To Installation and Execution of Steel Structure of Pipe Rack

(Columns, Lattice Frames, Tie Beams) and Pipe Spools (Pipelines and Piping).

• By Rigging Studies: To

prepare the Simple Lift Plan (SLP) routine, Site Access and Egress Check List

as per BAPCO Lift Data Sheet

• To verify the routine & non- routine,

Complicated, Tandem (Multi-Crane) and critical lift plan as per Lifts

Classification of BAPCO Rigging Procedure.

• To support monitor, oversee lifting &

rigging operation.

• To ensure all lifting & rigging

operations carried out safely and compliance to their BAPCO

procedure.

Green Field: Heavy

Vessels, Skids-Installation and Performing using by CC2800-1, LTM 1200-5.1 and

CKE 2500-2 such as PSA Absorber, Tail gas buffer vessel, WHB, HP Separator, LP

Flash Drum, Hot Exchanger, NH3 Cartridge & Converter Shell, Ammonia Flare,

Tank Flare, Refrigeration & Syngas Compressors, PSA Valve Skids,

Condenser,132 KVA Transformer, Concrete Precast and etc. Equipment Weights from

10 MT to 250 MT

• Brown Field: Wash Column, Steel Structure of Pipe Rack & Pipe Spools.

• To review and approval the (the Simple, routine,

non-routine, Complicated, Tandem and the critical Lift plan.

• By Rigging Study: To review & verify

effective cranes with present configuration and suitable lifting gears

selection, Wind Speed, COG & GBP Calculations checked with latest GA & Transportation

Drawing as well as physically check at site and confirm the lift plan

• To ensure that subcontractors comply with key safe

system of work as per SNC Lavalin HSE Blue Book Policy are being

followed.

• To confirm if there are any special

requirement for Modulift Modular Lifting & Spreader Beams, Adjustable Lifting & Spreader

Beams.

• Responsible: For overseen, monitor to ensure

correct working practices are being followed and Technical support to all

lifting and rigging activities for planning and scope of work.

Thorough Visual Examination and Load Testing such as Hydraulic Mobile Cranes, Lattice Boom Crawler

Cranes, Articulating Boom Cranes (Lorry Loader) and Side Boom Pipe Layer.

• Thorough Visual Examination and Load testing

such as Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Slewing Jib Cranes,

Electric Hoists (Chain & Wire Ropes), Runway Beams, Monorail Beams with

trolley and Cantilever Beams.

• Thorough Visual Examination and Verification

of Lifting gears such as Slings (Wire Rope, Webbing, Chain), Shackles,

Eyebolts, Hooks, Master Links & Rings, Beam Clamps (Fixed &

Adjustable), Swivels, Turnbuckles, Lifting Caps, Drum Lifters, Pulleys and

Sheave/ Snatch Block, etc.

•Thorough Visual Examination

and Load Testing of Mechanical Handling Equipment

• Thorough Visual Examination and Operational

Test of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment and Functional Test and Load Testing of

Hand Operated Equipment.

• Thorough Visual Examination

and Load Testing of Container Handling Equipment, MEWP, below hook attachments, Cargo Carrying Units & etc.,

• Training: Responsible for conducting training programs of Safe Lifting &

Rigging, Lifting Equipment Operators and Equipment Operator Assessment.

Rail Mounted Quay Crane (RMQC- BM TITAN) with lifting capacity 40MT Spreader and 60MT Hook

Mode.

• Responsible for preventive maintenance

carried out as prepared from Crane manufacturers checklist.

• Periodical maintenance carried out as on

intervals, Lubricants changing in gear box, Hydraulic oil filling in Spreader

tank & thruster brakes, lubricants apply on wire ropes (Hoist & Boom).

• Steel Wire Ropes & Crane Wheel Inspection

and replacement as per OEM Manuals.

• Hydraulic Unit (KHIC-Spreader): Trouble

shooting the check rotation of twist lock/ unlock pins and sensors motion for

TLS (Trim, List, Skew).

Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes (E.O.T), Goliath Gantry Cranes, GRAB Cranes, Electric Hoists, Slewing

Jib Cranes, Cantilever Beams, Monorails and Runway Beams (Mukund, Petron, WMI,

Kone & Indef) with Lifting capacity from 1MT to 60/60 MT.

• Responsible: For preventive maintenance

carried out as prepared from Crane manufacture’s check list

• As per planned maintenance work, Replacement

of Wire Ropes (M.H & A.H), Crane Wheels (L.T & C.T), Hook Blocks,

Electric motors, bearing, shafts, DSL/ bus bars and Brakes assembly

• Overhauling & assembling of gear boxes

and alignment of motors.

• Diagnose and Rectify faults to enhance scope

of Work Equipment.

• When required lead a root cause analysis and

provide maintenance support to client.

• Ensuring the inventory of all fasteners and

spares arranging for Cranes maintenance.

Dock Mounted Racking - Luffing Cranes wire ropes replacement including Grab maintenance.

• Supervise team members for ship

repair at dock and engine side

such as Pipelines Maintenance Work of Dismantling, Fabrication, Installing of

Fire Line, Water Line, Steam Line, Oil Line, Air Line etc. with quality

effective.

• Supervise assigned rigging activities

performed from Engine side to Dock side like Valves & generators.
