"Smart Search" is a cutting-edge search engine platform driven by industry-leading technologies such as Elastic Search and Open Search. As a DevOps Engineer, I was responsible for managing the seamless deployment, automation, and ongoing maintenance of the underlying infrastructure that underpins this cutting-edge platform. Key Details: Multi-Cloud Deployment: Deployments were orchestrated across numerous cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Digital Ocean. This strategy ensured redundancy, scalability, and high availability across several cloud environments. Pipeline of Automated Deployment: Created a strong deployment workflow with Jenkins and GitHub Actions. This automation improved the process of submitting code changes to production, resulting in faster and more reliable releases. Product Provisioning for SaaS: Given the product's SaaS structure, dynamic provisioning of AWS clusters was made possible.

Improved Search Experience:

The incorporation of cutting-edge technologies such as Elastic Search and Open Search improved search accuracy and speed significantly. End users reported faster and more precise search results, which boosted user happiness.

Infrastructure Efficiency Optimisation:

We reduced downtime significantly and increased overall system performance by applying strong DevOps practises. This optimisation improved resource utilisation as well as cost efficiency.

Continuous Deployment and Automation:

The use of Jenkins and GitHub Actions to create automated deployment pipelines accelerated the release process. This resulted in faster and more reliable code deployments, which accelerated product development.

As a DevOps Engineer at Axis Securities, I led a project to streamline the application deployment process. I effectively automated the deployment of several applications using Jenkins, drastically minimising manual involvement and increasing overall efficiency.

Key Achievements:

End-to-End CICD Pipeline: I designed and built a thorough Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipeline. This pipeline used a number of integrated tools, including SonarQube for code quality analysis, Twistlock for container security, JFrog for artefact management, and Bitbucket for version control.

Single-Handed Execution: I completed the entire project individually, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expertise. This demonstrated my capacity to take initiative and see projects through from start to finish.

Timely Delivery: Despite the task's intricacy, I successfully completed it within a two-month period. This not only demonstrated my technical ability, but also my ability to achieve tight deadlines.
